This enhancement restructures job filters to clearly separate system-based statuses from virtual categories, and ensures suggested jobs are no longer included under the OPEN filter. The result is improved clarity and a more intuitive user experience when managing and viewing job statuses.
Previously, suggested jobs were grouped under the OPEN filter, causing confusion when users attempted to identify truly unfilled shifts.
With these changes:
- OPEN filter will only show future jobs that have no worker allocated.
- Suggested jobs will no longer be included in the OPEN filter. They will have their own distinct filter.
- OPEN Over-due will handle past jobs that remain unfilled, ensuring past-due shifts are not mixed with standard OPEN jobs.
- Open Urgent will highlight jobs starting in the next 24 hours to prioritise immediate attention.
This change will significantly improve the clarity and accuracy of job filters, helping admins and agencies to prioritise job fulfilment more effectively. The separation of OPEN, SUGGESTED, and OVERDUE jobs will eliminate confusion and enhance the overall user experience.
Key Functionality
- ALL – Displays all jobs, regardless of status.
- OPEN Urgent – Displays OPEN jobs that are starting within the next 24 hours.
- OPEN Overdue – Displays jobs that have ended in the past but still have no worker allocated.
System Statuses
These are the job states stored in the system.
- OPEN – Jobs starting in the future where no worker is allocated. Past due open jobs will no longer appear here (previously, suggested jobs were included, but now they will be removed).
- SUGGESTED – Jobs where a worker has been suggested but not yet allocated. This can include jobs in the future or the past.
- ALLOCATED – Jobs where a worker has been allocated (regardless of future or past start times).
- COMPLETED – Jobs where the timesheet has been approved, waiting to be invoiced or already invoiced.
- CANCELLED – Jobs that were either cancelled before a worker was allocated or where a worker was allocated but later removed.
