New Features
- Introducing new VISA types
- Manage VISA expiry information and allocated quota
- Email notifications on VISA expiration
- VISA type and VISA quota
Each of the above features and enhancements are described below for a better understanding of care agencies.
Adding the VISA expiration date
VISA expiration date with expiry reminders added to the Care Hires worker profile so that the worker is legitimate to work in a certain location at a given time. This feature can be added to the profile in the documents section where a copy of the VISA is to be uploaded. The current accounts which are already there in the system are given the opportunity to update the profiles while the new accounts can enter the data when creating the account with Care Hires.
Email notifications on VISA expiration
Care agencies now get notified whenever the VISA of the workers expires. As the care worker profiles are linked with agency locations, the Business Emails of the agencies in the Care Hires system get notified when the VISA of the workers are about to expire and expire. The notifications are by default scheduled to be sent before 7 days, before 3 days, and on the day of expiration. This time schedule is configurable and can be changed according to the preference of the agency.
VISA type and VISA quota
Determining the working hours of a worker is resolved using this feature which brings forward legitimate working hours depending on the eligible VISA type of the worker. In the Care Hires system, there are four VISA types accepted for workers as Skilled VISA, Student VISA, Dependent VISA, Settlement VISA and an option as Non-Required for citizens. Along with these options, the VISA quota is by default filled as 20 hours per week for Student VISA and 40 hours per week for all other options. These working hours are configurable and can be changed according to the preference of the worker. However, when allocating jobs for the workers, if by any chance the newly allocated jobs exceed the working hours permitted per week, a warning message is displayed. This will only be displayed in Eligible Workers, Suggested Workers, and Rejected Workers tabs, and will not be there when the worker is selected.
