New Features:

  • Display new status real time Job / Timesheet status
  • Enhancements to the NI number for better worker compliance
  • Mobile optimised web for job management

  • Enhancements to the contact numbers in the system

Enhancements:

  • Display AKA name as an identifier in profile
  • Enhancements for better user experience

Each of the above features and enhancements are described below for a better understanding of care agencies.

Display new status real time job / timesheet status

This feature enables care agencies to track the status of their workers in real-time with the status shown as on route, clock in or clock out. With a quick glance, care agencies can see the worker's status, such as if they are on their way to the job site or have arrived. This helps in better managing their schedule and ensuring timely care delivery. With this feature, workers can easily clock in/out of their shifts using the provider web.

Care agencies have the ability to filter and see a list of the workers in each status separately in order to have a better idea on an overview of the current status of workers. This feature enables care agencies to use the allocated tab and filter using the worker statuses not started, on route, started, pending timesheets, pending approvals, and time sheet disputed. In addition to that agencies can also use the completed tab as well to filter worker status using the statuses invoice and pending invoice.

It also provides near real-time ETA information, which enables care agencies to track the progress of the workers and ensure timely arrival. This helps in better managing schedules and reducing late arrivals.

Enhancements to the NI number for better worker compliance

This adds an extra layer of identification for workers, making it easier for care agencies to manage the workforce in a less complicated and organized way. The NI number is a validation enhancement that is added to give a unique identity to each worker.

The format of the number starts with two uppercase letters from A to Z, followed by 6 digits from 1 to 9 and ending with one uppercase letter from A to Z. For example, agencies can use XX123456X as an NI number that can be used as a unique identifier given to a worker profile in the system.

At times with the input of information, the NI number is used to detect the worker profile and it can only be used with a single profile. Agencies cannot use the same NI number to update information related to two separate worker profiles.

Whenever an issue occurs regarding the registered NI number a message pops up on the screen notifying the agencies that the particular number is already in use. The care agencies can seek assistance in this matter from the Care Hires support chat or by getting in touch with the support team.

Mobile optimised web for job management

This feature allows care agencies to post jobs and manage workflows using their mobile devices, making it more convenient for them to manage their operations even when they don’t have access to a computer. Being the mobile-friendly website for job management, the agencies can now control the system from a web browser!

Care agencies can now use mobile devices to access the system and do tasks related to job posting, job administration, and allocations. The system has always needed to be accessible from a desktop version, preventing users from carrying it around or making changes while they were on the road. Through this enhancement, agencies can now do job posting, canceling jobs, view jobs, view detailed information about jobs, view worker allocations, manage worker allocation (allocate / de-allocate), and view rotas simply by logging in through a mobile or a desktop device.

Enhancements to the contact numbers in the system

Care agencies and agency workers already have the ability to put a contact number into the system so that both parties can get in touch at any time of need. It is improved, so that agencies and workers can now maintain multiple phone numbers instead of just one in order to make the system more accessible and user friendly. It allows agencies and workers to put more than one contact number with a label that defines the number for ease of contacting. This helps in ensuring better communication between the agency and the workers at any given time of need.

Additionally, the use of multiple contact numbers are also verified using an OTP link sent to that particular mobile number. This is to make sure that the said mobile number is active and connected while ensuring that the numbers put into the system are secured with this verification system.

Display AKA name as an identifier in profile

This enhancement allows care agencies to easily search for workers by their AKA name and view their detailed profile using the same. Through this, the care agencies can filter and search any worker profile using their name or the AKA name making the system more accessible and manageable. This enhancement is done as it is easier for the care agencies to identify the workers using any name usually used to communicate.

This enhancement can be seen when working in the system in the list view, allocations tab and also in the detailed worker profile. The AKA name is included within brackets in front of the name of the worker in any of displays.

Enhancements for better user experience

Care Hires system is now upgraded to make the user experience for the care agencies more convenient with a few enhancements. Agencies and agency workers can now see worker profile thumbnail against the list views in the system. This makes it easier to recognize users by their profile pictures and infographics added to the details provided. In addition to that, the system is now updated for screen optimizations in the tasks screen for different screen sizes which can be mobiles and desktops, making the usage more convenient. Other than that, the refactoring backend services are enhanced to have minimal latency with typical response times of 3-5 seconds. These enhancements in addition to the new features help make the Care Hires user experience easy and convenient.
