We've introduced a new feature to enhance the management of workers under the Skilled and Health and Care Worker visa categories. This update provides better visibility, control, and compliance support for agencies working with visa-sponsored workers
What's New?
This feature introduces several key functionalities:

Sponsor Type Handling:

Agency Sponsored:

Workers can be assigned to any provider that the Agency has an active agreement with.

Workers can only work with one assigned provider that the agency has an active agreement with.
- When this option is selected, a dropdown menu appears to choose the assigned provider.

The default minimum number of weekly hours is set to 40. This value is configurable.

Externally Sponsored:

The default maximum number of weekly hours is set to 20. This value is configurable. However, job allocations cannot exceed the configured limit.

Worker Profile:

Worker profiles have been improved to support the inclusion of non-UK workers.

Users can now record visa types and sponsor types for better tracking and compliance management.

The provider list is dynamically displayed based on the selected sponsor type:

Agency Sponsored - Assign to provider - FALSE

External Sponsored - Assign to provider - TRUE

Job Search:

Workers are matched to jobs based on skills, provider agreements, and availability.

Sponsor type compliance is enforced during the matching process.

Worker Hours Report:

A new report provides enhanced visibility into worker hours.

Administrators can monitor weekly hour allocations and identify potential overages.

This supports improved workforce planning and compliance.

The report includes filtering and search capabilities by:

Worker ID, Name, Visa Type, Agency, COS Issuing Company, COS Type

Assigned Provider, Minimum & Maximum Work Hours

Total Hours Worked, Hour Differences

Visa Quota Compliance Status

How to Access the Feature:

Go to your CareHires portal.

To access the worker profile, navigate to the worker profile.

To access the Worker Hours Report, navigate to the Reports section and select Worker Hours Report.
