All drop-down selectors across the system have been upgraded to advanced searchable drop-downs. This enhancement significantly improves efficiency and reduces the time spent navigating large dropdown menus, delivering a smoother and more user-friendly experience.

Users can now search using, when selecting workers, care homes, or providers

1. Full names
2. Partial names
3. Keywords, when selecting workers, care homes, or providers

Previously, drop-down selectors in the system only supported search based on the first letter of a name, making it challenging for users to quickly find and select workers, care homes, or providers—especially when navigating large datasets.

Key Functionality

• Enable full-text search capabilities for drop-down selectors
• Support partial text matching (e.g., typing "Pet" returns "Peter Johnson")
• Include keyword search for relevant fields (e.g., searching by worker ID, care home name, or provider company)

• As users type, dynamically filter and display matching results.
• Prioritise exact matches, followed by partial matches.

• Apply the enhanced searchable drop-downs across all relevant fields, including:
  • Worker selection
  • Care home selection
  • Provider selection
