Previously, workers could be saved with only one job type. With this enhancement, workers can now be created with multiple job types based on their skills and qualifications.
What's New?
This new process is designed to ensure a more efficient worker allocation functionality within the Care Hires SCM portal.
This update makes the Care Hires system work even better for everyone. We've improved the way workers are matched to jobs, making the whole process smoother and more efficient. Now, workers can see and apply for a wider variety of roles that truly match their skills and qualifications. This means more relevant job options for them and a better way for the system to find the perfect person for every job.
Key Functionalities:
-
Worker Profile
- The process begins with a Super User or Agency creating a worker profile.
- The "Worker Type" dropdown now supports multi-selection.
- Upon selecting a worker type, other relevant worker types will be automatically enabled, while unrelated worker types will be disabled.
- Based on the selected worker types, skills, relevant regulatory settings, and documents will be automatically listed in the appropriate fields.
- Once all required details and documents are provided, the worker profile can be successfully saved and will become available for allocations.
-
Job Allocations
- Workers can now save multiple applicable worker types and skills, expanding their eligibility across a wider range of job opportunities.
- This enhancement ensures workers are automatically listed for all relevant job postings, making it easier for users to suggest and allocate suitable candidates.
Why is this helpful for your agency?
By allowing workers to have multiple roles, your agency can:
- Increased worker utilisation: Workers can be matched to a wider variety of jobs, reducing downtime and maximising their working hours.
- Improved job matching: The system can more accurately match workers to jobs based on their full skill set, leading to better job placements and increased worker satisfaction.
- Streamlined allocation process: With workers automatically listed for all relevant job postings, it's easier and faster to find suitable candidates for specific roles.
- Enhanced worker flexibility: Workers can take on different roles as needed, providing greater flexibility for both the agency and the providers.
