Care Hires Background
Care Hires was initially founded in 2017, and after 2 years of development the initial product was ready to go to market in March 2019. By October 2019 a second version of the system was released that had vast improvements. By March of 2020 we initiated a go to market plan. By December 2020 we began pivoting our on-demand self employed worker model, to a truly Neutral Vendor, leveraging our technology.
Care Hires today is a platform for Care Home and Agencies, who utilise Support Workers, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants in their services. This platform is a rota management, compliance and invoicing rolled into one!
In a Nutshell:
- Founded in 2017 by Suleman Sacranie & Nizam Bata
- Sri Lankan Development Team assembled to build out initial MVP
- System 1 was developed and launched as beta test March 2019
- In 1-3 test Care Homes whilst technology was improved
- System 2 was developed and launched as second test in October 2019
- Seed funding round completed in March/April of 2020.
- Ashley Haveloch-Jones appointed as Operations Director
- Went to market with an internal team in April 2020
- Pivoted models in December 2020
- By end of March 2021 we 5x’d revenues in 3 months
- On 14th June 2021 Care Hires went LIVE with it’s V3 product/service - enabling Agencies and Care Homes to work seamlessly together

Business Comparison
Deliveroo connects Restaurants nationwide with Consumers through an aggregation platform. Through Deliveroo you can select a postcode that populates Restaurants and categorizes them by food type.
The consumer is able to browse the Restaurant menus and place orders. The orders when placed go directly to the Restaurant. A service fee and delivery fee are placed on these orders. Deliveroo drivers then deliver these orders; picking them up from the Restaurant, and taking them to the consumer. This journey is slick.
Similar to Deliveroo, we capture demand and match it with supply based on location, criteria and requirement. Once matched and ordered, we pass this information to the relevant supplier, for them to fulfill this request.
