Exploring the Reporting Suite
Good rostering only pays off if the data reaches finance cleanly. Care Bank's Reporting Suite turns your rota, timesheet, and agency data into the figures other teams need — in the formats they've asked for — and lets you schedule recurring reports so they arrive without anyone remembering to run them.
In-App Reports
Open Reports from the main menu to find a library of ready-to-run reports, including Spend Breakdown, Month on Month, Average Rate, Approval Type, Break, Running Totals, Spend Analysis, Pre-Approval Reason, Agency Reconciliation, Agency Cost Analysis, and Timesheet reports. Each can be exported as CSV or PDF, and selected reports integrate with Power BI. Select View to open a report.
Report Types and Filters
For a detailed pull, choose a report type — for example the Worker Hours Report — and apply filters such as date, agency, provider, site, visa type, and visa quota status. Select Generate Report to view the results on screen, then Export to download. The Worker Hours Report shows each worker's minimum and maximum hours, total hours completed, the difference, and a visa quota compliance status (Compliant or Not covered) — useful for keeping visa-restricted workers within their limits.
Embedded Reports
Alongside the standard reports, Embedded Reports give you ready-made summaries — such as billed total and posted hours total (trend and summary views) — for a quick read on activity without configuring filters.
Free Tier and Upgrades
The Reporting Suite is available on a Free Tier with the in-app reports above. Upgrading unlocks advanced reports and BI integrations for deeper analysis and automated exports.
Tips for Provider Admins
- Filter by site or agency for reconciliation. Narrowing a report makes querying a single site or agency far easier.
- Match the agreed format. Finance often asks for a specific layout (commonly CSV) — stick to it so there's no rework downstream.
