Reminders for workers you have invited to the app
Care Hires now chases invited workers for you, with reminder emails to log in and finish their app profile.
Inviting a worker to the Care Worker app is easy enough. Getting them to actually log in and finish their profile is the part that takes chasing, and until now the only option was pressing Resend one worker at a time.
Reminders are now sent automatically. Workers who have not logged in are nudged to do so, and workers who have logged in but not finished their app profile are nudged to complete it. You can still send a reminder yourself whenever you want to.
All reminders are emails. Nothing is sent as an app or push notification.
What is sent and when
If a worker has never logged in, they are reminded on days 2, 5 and 10 after their invite, which is three emails at most. The reminders stop as soon as they log in.
If a worker has logged in but has not finished their app profile, they are reminded on days 2, 5, 10 and 15 after their invite, which is four emails at most. These stop as soon as they submit their details.
The days are always counted from the worker's first app invite, so sending a reminder yourself does not push the schedule back. A worker who logs in part way through picks up only the profile reminders still ahead of them. Somebody who logs in on day 6, for example, will get the day 10 and day 15 profile reminders.
Reminders go out once a day, and a worker's status is checked at the point of sending. A worker who logs in or finishes their profile that morning will not receive anything that day.
What "finished their profile" means here
This means the profile details the worker submits in the mobile app. It is not the same as the Profile complete status you see on their worker profile in Agency Accelerator.
The two can disagree. A worker whose profile is complete on your side may still be receiving reminders because they have not submitted their details in the app, and the reverse is also possible. If a worker tells you they are getting reminders they do not expect, this is almost always the reason.
Sending a reminder yourself
Resend works as it always has, with a few improvements.
- Open the worker's profile.
- Select Resend.

The worker receives a reminder telling them when their login details were sent, suggesting they check their inbox, spam and junk folders, and pointing them to Forgot Password if they still cannot find them. There is a button to download the app.
Worth knowing:
- Resend never sends new login details. It is a reminder about the details the worker already has.
- You can use it as often as you need, with a short wait of a few minutes between presses.
- It is only there until the worker logs in for the first time, after which it disappears because it is no longer needed.
Seeing what has already gone out
Next to Resend you will see when the invite was sent and when the last reminder went out, covering reminders of any kind, whether you sent them or the platform did. A dash means nothing has been sent yet.
This is the quickest way to check whether a worker has genuinely been chased before you ring them.
Workers who are not sent reminders
Reminders are not sent to workers who are deactivated, archived, suspended or removed, or to workers whose email address has bounced or who have unsubscribed.
Where a worker is on the books of more than one agency, they receive at most one reminder of each type per day rather than one from each agency.
If something looks wrong
A worker says they have had nothing. Check the email address on their profile, ask them to look in spam and junk, and check the invite and last reminder dates on their profile to confirm what has been sent.
Resend is not showing on a worker's profile. That worker has already logged in at least once, so login reminders no longer apply to them.
A worker is still getting reminders after finishing their profile with you. They have most likely not submitted their details in the app, which is what these reminders are based on.
A worker has stopped receiving reminders. Either they have logged in and finished their profile, or they have reached the end of the schedule.
If something still does not look right, get in touch with the Care Hires support team with the worker's name and when they were invited.
