How to set up leave balances for workers
Setting up leave balances ensures that your workers have an allocated number of days or hours they can request as leave.
This setup helps you control entitlements and stay compliant with your internal leave policies. You can always come and update the entitlement later.
Steps:
- Go to the Leave Management section in Agency Accelerator.
- Open the Balance Setup tab.
- Select the worker whose leave balance you want to configure.
- Enter the leave balance:
- Enter in Days or Hours depending on your system setting.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- You can adjust the balance at any time based on policy changes or carry-forward rules.
- Leave balances directly impact whether a worker’s leave request is permitted.
