Getting Started with Worker Mobile App
The Worker Mobile App puts your work in your pocket. From your phone you can find and apply for shifts, keep track of your schedule, clock in and out, submit your timesheets, set your availability, book time off, and keep your profile up to date, all in one place.
This guide helps you download the app, sign in for the first time, and find your way around.
Downloading the App and Signing In
When your agency onboards you, you'll receive a welcome email from Care Hires. This email contains two things you need to get started:
- Your login credentials — the email address and password to sign in with.
- A link to download the Care Bank Mobile App.
To get started:
- Open the welcome email and tap Download App. If the button doesn't work, copy the link underneath into your phone's browser.
- The link opens the app in the App Store (or Google Play on an Android phone). Tap Get or Install.
- Confirm the install if your phone asks — for example, double-click the side button or use Face ID.
- Once it's installed, tap Open to launch the app.
- On the Welcome back! screen, enter the email and password from your welcome email, then tap Sign in.
Note: If you ever forget your password, tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen to reset it. Signing in confirms you accept Care Hires' terms of use and privacy policy, linked at the bottom of the screen.
Allowing Location Access
The first time you open the app, you'll be asked to allow location access. Tap Allow While Using App. This lets the app confirm you're in the right place when you start a shift, so please choose this option.
Finding Your Way Around
Once you sign in, the Home screen greets you by name and gives you quick access to everything you need. Quick Actions take you straight to the things you'll use most:
- Open Jobs — browse and apply for available shifts.
- Shifts — view the shifts you've been assigned.
- Timesheets — record and submit your worked hours.
- History — look back over your past shifts.
- Leaves/Unavailability - apply for a time period which you are unavailable for.
Below that, your Schedule shows what's coming up — switch between Today and Next 7 days. The menu at the bottom lets you move between Home, Profile, and Support.
Getting Help and Signing Out
Tap Support in the bottom menu whenever you need a hand. To sign out, open Profile and tap Sign out.
Tips for Getting Started
- Keep your welcome email handy the first time you sign in — you'll need the email and password from it.
- Switch notifications on so you don't miss a shift offer or an update.
- Keep the app updated so you always have the latest features.
